William Michael Munson

William "BJ" Munson of Gaylord fell asleep in death peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 13, 2026, after a 6 year battle with cancer.

BJ grew up in Maryland but has lived in Gaylord with his family for 25 years. He was a minister of Jehovah's Witnesses and a member of the Gaylord Congregation. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, traveling and visiting the beach in North Carolina. He worked in construction and other venues of employment, finally settling in a cleaning business. BJ is survived by his wife and two children, his parents, siblings, and in-laws.

BJ will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends from around the country. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1830 Shaw Road, Petoskey, MI.
