William Albert Wiley

William Albert Wiley, 82, of Gaylord, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on April 1, 2026, with his dear wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and great grandson by his side. Born on January 16, 1944, in Goodrich, Michigan, William was the youngest of seven children and embraced life with a gentle spirit and a caring heart.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years, including three tours in Vietnam as a
Torpedoman. His dedication to service defined much of his life, earning him respect and admiration from those who knew him.

On November 13, 1965, he married the love of his life, Beatrice, in Canoga Park, California. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Bill owned and operated Wiley's Automotive in Clio, Michigan, where his passion for auto parts and his knack for woodworking shone through.

Bill served as the Past Post Commander at the VFW Post 4087 in Davison, Michigan. His legacy lives on through the fond memories he created and the friendships he nurtured. Most of all, he was a devoted father who adored his daughter Rhonda, the apple of his eye.

Bill will be deeply missed, but his spirit and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beatrice; his daughter, Rhonda (Doug) Moore of Gaylord; his son, Keith (Cara) Wiley of New Hampshire; special grandchildren, Luke, Chaz, Hannah and Emma; great-grandchildren, Braxton and Abigail.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.

The family has chosen to remember him privately.
