Frederick W. Klaty, 85 of Gaylord, passed away at home on Friday, August 28, 2020 surrounded by family.
Born on April 27, 1935 in Carsonville, Fred grew up there and graduated from Deckerville High School.
After marrying Barbara Jean Dellar in 1956, the couple resided briefly in Ferndale, Saginaw, and Flint before moving to Waterford where they raised their family for more than 30 years. Fred had a long career in construction sales with Fasteners Inc, retiring in 1997. In 2001 the couple moved to Gaylord.
Fred chose to serve the Lord at a young age, and throughout his life he had an open home where he enjoyed fellowship meetings and the company of family, friends, and the Lord’s servants; all were welcome.
