Glen L. Weber

Glen LeRoy Weber, 75 of Gaylord, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Born on September 20, 1945 in Gaylord, he was the son of Albert and Addie (Roher) Weber.

Glen was raised in Gaylord where for all of his life he lived on the same property, east of Gaylord toward Johannesburg. In 1964, he graduated from Gaylord High School. For over 40 years, he worked for Georgia Pacific as a Millwright. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and metal detecting. He had a passion for line dancing and teaching others to line dance as well. He had a great love for his African Grey Parrot, Shadow Weber.

He is survived by four children, Jeffrey (Michelle) Weber of Greenbush, MN., John (Berrina) Weber of Bethel, AK., Jamie Weber (Fiancé Kaira Kerr) of Gaylord and Kelly Weber of Gaylord; special grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Morgan, Lindsey, Christine, Jasmine, Rachael, Ryan and Brielle; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorelei Moyes and Helen Hill; his significant other, Tina McFalda and her children, Melissa, Zack and Jacob; and his good friend whom use to be married to and raised four children together, Janet Weber of Gaylord and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three siblings, Jean Harrison, Ralph Weber and Ruth Weber.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Gaylord E-Free church with Pastor Scott Distler officiating. The family will visit with friends beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of services. A luncheon will follow. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to Otsego County Commission on Aging or to the TACKLE Cancer Van.
